Business IT Digital selling package targets MSMEs using livestream commerce By Jinji Quiambao October 3, 2026 Facebook Twitter Linkedin Email Viber Copy URL Heidi Garayblas, VP for business development and operations at Converge, discussing the features of the offering during the launch in Makati City Converge ICT Solutions, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), and TikTok Shop have launched a bundled package aimed at helping Filipino micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) expand their online and livestream selling operations. Called SellerPlus, the package combines a 200Mbps Converge fiber Internet connection with TikTok Shop incentives, personal accident insurance, and access to business training and mentorship. The package targets MSMEs, livestreamers, content creators, and home-based entrepreneurs that rely on Internet connectivity to sell products and interact with customers online. New TikTok Shop sellers who sign up under the program can get zero-percent commission fees for 90 days. They can also participate in Seller Diligence Missions, where merchants can earn vouchers and other incentives. Other benefits include dedicated customer service as well as traffic and voucher support through TikTok Shop’s monthly Sariling Atin campaign, which promotes local brands to Filipino consumers. The 200Mbps fiber connection is intended to support bandwidth-intensive activities such as livestream selling, allowing merchants to broadcast products and process online transactions over the same connection. Converge said the package is particularly suited to small businesses in sectors such as food, fashion, and apparel, where e-commerce and livestream selling have become additional channels for reaching customers. SellerPlus also includes personal accident insurance from AXA. The initiative is linked to the DTI Bagong Pilipinas AI and Scale-Up Center in Makati, which gives SMEs access to business technology demonstrations and training. The center features tools including AI-powered content generators, customer service bots, and inventory software. It also has co-working stations, meeting pods, pitching areas, accelerator training rooms, and digital skills workshops. Converge provides the connectivity infrastructure for the center’s physical and virtual operations. Entrepreneurs can also access the BizPro Rockstar Mentorship Program under the BizFriend PH Community, which covers areas including partnership law, digital marketing, tax compliance, business communication, and business growth. SellerPlus effectively combines Internet connectivity with e-commerce platform incentives and business support as the three organizations seek to encourage more small businesses to adopt digital and livestream selling.
