Iowa Attorney General's Office Announces Lawsuit Against Temu | WOC 1420 - iHeart

The suit from the Iowa Attorney General's Office accuses Temu of falsely representing the quality of goods available on its platform, deceptively harvesting Iowans' data, and showing a lack of regard for intellectual property rights. The Iowa Attorney General's Office says Temu siphons Iowans' data and makes it available to the Chinese government. The lawsuit also cites signup scams and misrepresentation of prices on the platform. The lawsuit seeks to force Temu to stop its unlawful conduct in violation of the Iowa Consumer Fraud Act.
