Traditionally, remote control software could be used to access a computer, along with a traditional KVM, but that can come with lots of issues and caveats, and a ton of cables. The NanoKVM-Go was designed to simplify this process by providing a one-USB-C-cable solution with 4K, WiFi6, and hardware-level control. One USB-C cable brings video, audio, keyboard, mouse, and power together. You then simply open your browser to view the screen, move the mouse, type, reboot, or manage your device remotely. There are no adapters, drivers on the target device, or dedicated client apps required. NanoKVM-Go ditches the Ethernet port entirely. With dual-band WiFi 6 delivering up to 286 Mbps, it streams 4K video wirelessly, with a claimed latency of 60~90ms latency on your local network. There is built-in Tailscale support that allows for secure remote access from anywhere with no port forwarding or VPN setup. There are two versions of the NanoKVM-Go available: NanoKVM-Go NanoKVM-Go + Both versions allow users to remotely wake, unlock, and control systems, and they can serve as a solution for troubleshooting and device management even when traditional remote software fails. NanoKVM-Go + The NanoKVM-Go + is an advanced version designed to provide AI agents full screen memory and context, which is certainly a controversial feature! The NanoKVM-Go + features what is described as ambient screen intelligence, where the device continuously captures and indexes screen activity locally. There is also offline screen memory search that allows users and AI agents to search through visual history. AI agents can also see, remember, and act upon the screen context provided.
