He further added that an additional 400,000 GPUs are scheduled to come online in the future. There is no unified definition of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) within the technology industry. Generally, it refers to systems that possess reasoning capabilities equal to or exceeding those of humans and can acquire new skills without retraining from scratch. According to Fox Business, OpenAI defines Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) as highly autonomous systems that surpass humans in most economically valuable work. Meanwhile, Nvidia and Mr. Huang use different criteria, describing AGI as AI systems capable of achieving top-level scores on professional qualification exams and standardized tests. Prior to the announcement, OpenAI President Greg Brockman told reporters that Astra represents a turning point and that it would not be unreasonable to feel the industry has entered the era of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI). What GPT-6 Astra Can Do OpenAI has hailed Astra as the most intelligent and capable model in its history. According to the company, Astra has reached new heights on rigorous benchmarks, scoring 98% on a math test known as FrontierMath Tier 4, achieving near-perfect results on ARC AGI 3, and posting high scores on ExploitBench, a cybersecurity test. According to OpenAI, Astra can handle not only test scores but also repetitive computer tasks such as filling out online forms, updating customer records, and organizing calendars. Furthermore, it is capable of researching topics, drafting documents, creating spreadsheets and presentations, and even testing software it has developed itself. In an interview with Fox Business, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman stated that one of Astra's most impressive features is its ability to identify issues that users may not have thought to ask about. He cited the example of investigating complex semiconductor supply chains, noting that the model pointed out flaws not mentioned in the user's initial request. None of this would be possible without massive computing power, which is where Nvidia comes in. In its recent earnings release, Nvidia announced that Q2 revenue reached $96 billion, more than double the amount from the same period last year. Revenue from its Data Center segment hit $89 billion. During the conference call, Mr. Huang also touched on Artificial General Intelligence (AGI), stating, 'In many ways, for many tasks, we can arguably say we have already achieved AGI.' He added that the fact that AI is performing useful and profitable work at scale is more important than chasing milestones. What lies ahead for Nvidia's stock price?
