SellerHalo at a glance
SellerHalo aims to be the independent compliance and performance record for live commerce. It is a real-time logic engine that sits beside a seller while they stream and helps them stay focused, confident and on brief.
| What it is | A live-selling support and analysis tool for sellers, creators and agencies |
| Where it works | TikTok, eBay Live, Whatnot and Tilt — runs on the seller’s own laptop alongside the stream |
| Based | Yorkshire, UK |
| Status | Patent-pending; general release 2 November 2026 |
| Website | sellerhalo.co.uk |
What it does
Streaming is hard, and being a creator is hard. Platforms have analytics and review meetings, but none of them are in the room while a seller is live. SellerHalo is — every stream, every day. It is a support tool, not a policing tool.
It listens to the seller’s voice in real time and gives them:
- Live focus — a keyword checklist on screen so they hit the points that sell
- Buyer requests surfaced as they come in, so nothing gets missed
- Live moderation — flags language a seller would want to correct before it costs them
- An instant post-stream debrief — what went well, what drifted, and what to try next time
The Seller Halo
At the core is the Seller Halo, a framework of three nested rings that every stream is measured against:
- On Goal (inner ring) — actively selling, using the key words for the product
- On Topic (middle ring) — selling continues with natural chat in between; a good stream needs both
- On Policy (outer ring) — compliant, but not selling; stepping outside it is the line no seller wants to cross
The aim is simple: keep the seller inside the halo while they are live, and help them learn from every stream afterwards.
Who it’s for
- Sellers — focus and confidence while live, and a clear debrief straight after so every stream improves on the last
- Creators — a record that proves they delivered the brief, which helps them win repeat work
- Agencies and brands — upload a brand script, and get a report showing what was actually said on stream; brand protection without sitting in on every live
Over time, SellerHalo builds each seller an independent record of how they stream — one that belongs to the seller, not to any single platform.
Where it came from
SellerHalo was built by sellers, for sellers. It started over a year ago as an internal tool on our own live streams at Sole Responsibility, a Yorkshire circular-economy business that resells returned, surplus and end-of-line designer apparel and premium footwear.
Our live-selling team streams every day — four presenters Monday to Friday and two at weekends, in fixed daily slots. They still test SellerHalo on every shift. Every feature has been shaped by what our own presenters needed when the room went quiet.
Meet the team
Simon Payne — Founder, SellerHalo; co-founder, Sole Responsibility
Simon has sold on eBay for more than 23 years and is the UK’s number one eBay seller of sneakers on static sales. He built Sole Responsibility from market-trading roots into a circular-economy business that has placed more than 500,000 units with zero brand-protection incidents. He has spent 15+ years working with global retailers and has spoken at eBay Open. SellerHalo grew out of his own live streams.
Eva Glover — Head of UX
Eva leads the SellerHalo user experience — making sure the tool is simple to use mid-stream, when a seller has no time to think about software. She is also general manager of Sole Responsibility and works day to day with the live-selling team who test the product.
Kyle Thackray — Web Developer
Kyle is the web developer behind the SellerHalo platform, turning feedback from live streams into product and supporting new sellers as they come on board.
The SellerHalo Founding 10
The Founding 10 is an opportunity for ten agencies to help shape SellerHalo by using it with their creators and giving feedback on what works and what they need.
SellerHalo helps creators improve their live streams by looking at whether they’re staying on topic, working towards their goals and staying within policy. It also helps agencies understand their creators’ performance and where they need support.
What do founding agencies get?
- A say in the product: monthly discussions to help shape future features.
- Early access: try new agency reporting, brand-script analysis and seller-record features before general release.
- Preferential pricing: a founding rate held for 24 months.
- Recognition: Founding Partner status and a co-branded case study.
What do they need to do?
Have creators use SellerHalo weekly, share honest feedback, and help develop fair, transparent ways to understand live-stream performance.
The simple way to explain it
SellerHalo is looking for ten agencies to become its founding partners. They’ll use the platform with their creators, help shape how it develops, and get early access, preferential pricing and founding-partner recognition in return. It’s a chance to help build something around what agencies and creators actually need.
