Temu urgent recall for children's toy due to 'choking risk' - Dublin Live

An urgent recall has been issued for a children's toy available on Temu due to a "choking risk". The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) alerted the public on Thursday that online marketplace Temu is conducting a recall of a Mini Doll Set sold on the platform by third-party seller LunarYieid. According to the consumer watchdog, the product presents a choking hazard, as the doll's components may become detached and create small parts that a child could place in their mouth and choke on. The identification number is 89206649537 and is accessible on the package. The Product ID is 601101311632485. There are approximately 47 affected products in the Republic of Ireland, reports the Irish Mirror . A CCPC spokesperson urged customers to immediately cease using the product and to ensure it is kept away from children. They further stated: "Temu has contacted affected consumers regarding this recall on behalf of the seller and assisted them with the refund process. "If you have not received a refund or have further questions or concerns about this product, please contact Temu's dedicated Customer Service Team."
