Manuel Bosque November 5, 2026 Updated: November 5, 2026 at 4:52 PM TikTok Shop, the company’s e-commerce marketplace, has split off from the main TikTok app, at least in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines. Apple App Store and Google Play listings in those markets now show a separate iPhone and Android app with personalized recommendations , shopping through live streams and short videos, in-app checkout, order tracking, customer support, app-only deals, free shipping, first-order perks, and secure payments. TikTok Download That move makes TikTok Shop a more direct retail play against Amazon and Temu. The bet here isn’t search. It’s creator-led discovery, recommendations, and the kind of impulse buying TikTok already knows how to spark. If you use TikTok to find products, the standalone app looks worth downloading. Southeast Asia is the clear place to test it first: industry projections put regional GMV at $4.4 billion in 2022 and a projected $45.6 billion in 2025. The U.S. and Europe still keep TikTok Shop inside the main TikTok app, even with U.S. sales projected to reach $15 billion in 2025, up 120%, according to industry projections. Europe is still expanding too. You can already download the standalone TikTok Shop app on iPhone and Android in those four markets, based on the Apple App Store and Google Play listings. TikTok hasn’t said anything about a broader rollout or a U.S. release. And TikTok Shop now sits alongside games, restaurant guides, sports hubs, hotel-booking tools, microdramas, payments, logistics, and Fulfilled by TikTok, while analysts keep warning about shopping-content fatigue and counterfeit goods.
